upper body strength--a necessity
Women are usually scared of upper body workouts, however, there are so many reasons why having a strong upper body is extremely important. For example...
If you want to try something new that requires arm strength, such as indoor rock-climbing.
If you want to walk on your hands--feet were so pre-injury.
If you want to spice it up a bit with your partner (stunt partner, that is).
If you want to show off how many pull-ups you can do in a bar.
If (God forbid) you end up on crutches. Hey, it happens to the best of us.
If you're curling vodka-soda's all night and just want to give your friend a strong bear hug. :)
Now that I've built my case (other than the fact that my legs are just sore), my workout today is a superset style upper body strength workout. You'll go from weights/cables to the TRX, working on the same body part. Core exercises are thrown in between sets.
Do the entire thing three times with minimal rest between exercises.
